Blue Eagle Project was derived by client desires of contemporary flare to a rustic mountain home. The light and airy natural tones of Alder ground this kitchen while the white upper cabinetry brighten the space. The clients wanted the island to have a fun pop of color. No better color than blue to keep the sense of serenity while still very playful. The hardware chosen for this was a very functional, contemporary matte black rounded pull to match the finish of the island sink. The alder cabinetry continues into their very functional mud room with and additional sink, laundry station with a tiltable counter space, and full height cabinetry for cleaning supplies, coats and shoes.
